Current Project
Making eLearning Accessible for all Learners
For this project, I worked closely with a Subject Matter Expert creating just a beginning training on accessible eLearning. We used Master Slides to help the consistency throughout the presentation. For the next step of the project, we are working to move this into a scenario based eLearning experience.
In this example, I am working in the next phases of Instructional Design using ADDIE Instructional Design model and prototyping in Adobe XD. The final project will then be in another software such as Storyline 360
Thank you for understanding that this project is currently a work in progress!
Action Map
Using Action Mapping, I took the time to write the goals of the project with the SME. This gives both the SME and I a chance to see the basics goals and skills the eLearning is trying to accomplish.
Storyboard
This step or phase is a simple storyboard that I created while discussing the goals of the learning experience with the Subject Matter Expert. Here I am just making a simple document to describe to steps of the eLearning experience. In this case, it is a very simple Google Document that I share with SME and have them sign off before moving on to the next step. That way, we are all on the same page throughout each step of the design process.
Prototype Mock ups
The next phase is the design phase. Here I am taking the presentation and making prototypes to facilitate the learning. I used Adobe XD to create these prototypes. Once I have a basic design, I share the protype with the SME to get feedback and approval before moving on to the next step. This makes the concept concrete between the SME and the Instructional Designer.
